Guest Patsmash
Haven't been giving Ted the work he deserves lately, only road work to trim him up some, so this morning I decided to give him a quick spin out. Didn't take any nets just Ted two ferrets and the bulldog. This piece of ground is a local patch and to be honest is well worked so I wasn't expecting a great deal just a few bolts for the dog. First bury was under a Hawthorn bush and two rabbits sneaked out the back and were unsighted by the dog. Then a quick dig produced two rabbits bottled up by my small albino hob. So we moved on to the open sets on the steep hill in the pasture field, only having two ferrets with me I entered both and sat back waiting for some action. It took a while before anything left the safety of the bury but when the first rabbit bolted Ted snapped it up after a short run, only one more rabbit bolted from this bury and made the brow of the hill before Ted got into his stride. So three for the pot and a pleasant morning out with the animals.....................
