pavman
Am going to look at a new vermin control request from a local farmer that totals just 60 Acres, bunnies are chopping his crops and he says he has Charlies nicking his Chickens! Am looking it over this weekend so wonder what the smallest permission any PW member has for a .223 as I am curious as to what my FEO would say if I ask him, understand all the normal requirements of backstops etc but also assume there must be other factors such as the plot size that come into play, lets hope he grants at the very least for the .17 HMR even if only from a high seat
Harnser
Pavman , If you have an open ticket then it will be your decision if you shot there or not . Harnser .
Dunkield
In this case at least, size shouldn't matter. IF they have any sense, they will pay more attention to the layout rather then the actual size. I have an open cert anyway, but in conversation my FEO said there was no problem with me using my .223 on the golf course as it has a 10ft high bank all down one side. luckytrigger
I was granted .223 on my first permission which only totals 60 acres.Imo depends on the firearms officer and how good back stops are etc.
