Well my two hound's are making a bit of a state of there door to their run.

The problem is that it's a vertical sliding door and very hard to get into.

Of course dog's being dog's that's where they are chewing

So i cant get into it to tap in some tin so what would you reccomend?

Some really hot mustard or something?

Cheer's

When my lab was a pup we tried all the usual chew deterents. Being a lab and loving the taste of anything resembelling **** . We were recomended trying Vics Vapour rub and I can tell you its works a treat and its very entertaining watching the dog trying to get the taste off its tongue afterwards. Rub it sparingly on anything the dog shows interest in that it shouldnt have. I guarentee it will work

Hi all, i am also going to give the vic`s a try as i have a chocolate lab and no matter what other toy`s/chew`s he has he still chew`s the corner`s of his supposedely rip & tear proof :good: goretex bedding. I should also add he is shut in in a very large dog cage at night in the utility room and i leave the outside security light on for him too and i have tried the puppy training chew deterrant spray`s ( 8mths old x-mas eve) so i`m running out of idea`s. Oh well i will report back on wether the vic`s work` ;)

Right just to update on the vics vapo rub i can definately vouch for this working as well as the tabasco sauce. I tried the vapo rub one end (wich the dog turned his nose up at  ) & let`s just say it was funny watching the poor dog`s facial expression`s trying to get the taste of tobasco off  ( i made sure he had plenty of water too  ) anyway thank`s for the great tip`s it was nice to have a little pay back after finding he`d chewed the corner`s of his bed. :hmm:
