tweedledee
well guys i have just fitted a edgar brothers optimate 6-44 fixed mag scope on my hw60j. i mounted it with a set of 25mm bkl scope mounts and fitted a set of butler creeks front and rear.i can now say my little rimfire is now complete.i wanted to get the scope zeroed today as i could n`t wait till saturday to do it at the club so i went to the field and took a few clay pigeons with me.i set up at 50 odd metres to zero in.i found the fixed mag scope had brilliant clarity and have to admit to being really impressed.i zeroed with my usual club ammo , lapua standard. groups at 50ms were good as usual.i later tried subs from magtech and lapua as well and stretched my range out to 80 odd metres.this was my first real plinking session in the field and i was pleased with performance of the rifle.once i got my aim point it was easy to whack broken shards of clays so nothing wrong with accuracy.i had enough of lying around the house and doing nothing so thought it was time i went shooting.heres a few pics.
