stealth ghost netting

Recommended Posts

hi i am a new member to PW

out of curiosity, has anyone tried the 'stealth ghost' (i think thats what its called) camo netting? does it work well? is it good value for money?

i am using at the moment some old army netting and am thinking of replacing it with something a little different as it is getting worn out

Presuming you are refering to the 2 ply stealth net sold by our site sponsors, then yes I use this net.

Very pleased with it. It's a decent size providing a good size hide and compacts down well for transporting, I roll mine up into a 'football boot' bag (smaller than a shoe box).

There are some cheaper versions with similar names sold by other shops, I haven't tried them myself but was warned off them as cheap quality copies.

Personally I would recomend them.

It is good .... if you have the money, go for it.

Lots of other camo netting will work though.

I also use the net. Works well, on stubble and against darker backdrops.

My only finding is it can get a bit "ripply" in a fresh wind.

I take some green twine or strong fishing gut and a bag of tent pegs just In case the wind Is a bit strong

I also take cable ties/elastic bands and a set of secateurs

They all fit In my seat/bucket and weigh next to nothing but are very handy ???
