vole
Am probably going to pick one up tomorrow so am taking last opportunity to get as much info as possible .I need it to fit in a breakdown cabinet which can take a 28 in sbs barrel but need to know if the Greener goes to a similar length. Its 26in by the way. Thanks very much
mattslaptop247
Im no expert lol, but i think if its a martini action you cant break it down, perhaps someone else can confirm this??
Bleeh
You can only break it down to 28'' if you've ever got a set of screwdrivers, or a buzz saw.
POW!
The easy answer NO , I have a GP , they dont like being taken apart too often , A solid gun but , a fair amount of recoil !! You dont waste a lot of cartridge with one of those guns !!! POW!
vole
Got it and the barrel unscrews after loosening a screw on the side of the action. Thanks for all replies. Great gun for taking along to check the traps with the dog. So light you can hardly tell you have the slip over your shoulder. Not shot it yet. Might take it to the clay ground tomorrow. vole
Cheers Zapp. Just cleaned it down and the engineering is amazing, really built to last. The rifle type sight is an interesting concept too. Once I got it out in the daylight there is a very light speckling of rust over the barrel. You think a rub with finest wire wool and the Enfield oil is in order?
