Broke the big bag, now what?

My big rucksack bag broke today, only 6 months old. got it from uk shootwarehouse about £20. Still it does get some abuse so cannot complain.

It generally carries magnet, battery hide and poles, gun, flask, carts and decoys. And you lot know how heavy that is.

As my bag broke it cost me three trips from the hide to my car. about 1/2 mile accross very wet muddy fields. I was ****** when i packed up and thought a small heart attack wasn't far off.

So, do i buy another and carry on lugging it about, take the wheelbarrow out of the shed, or buy one of those fold up fishing wheel barrows?

What do you guys use?

I use a 90 litre rucksack takes 100 cartridges, 12 shell dec's, 3 nets , pigeon bag, clips, pegs, battery and other odds and bods, and drink n food, and a fishing quiver for poles, magnet, floater and gun, 2 lumps. only extra i might carry this time of year are some extra decoys strung together .

Barrow works ok on flatish dry reasonably firm ground , but sticky ground and ruts more of a pain pushing n pulling it than carrying the gear so i've found out.

ex German rucksack from a army surplus store is the best i have found so fa. not been as it long but i have a ******** back so i have tried all sorts.

the ones from the site sponsor are great but to piggin heavy as you tend to take the kitchen sink with you.

carp porter, fishing barrow, are great when your on grass, gravel or dry ground but as soon as you get to any sort of mud then your swearing as the mud just clogs the wheels up and then your push pulling and swearing.

travel lighter with the German one is the best for me.

OR c) get down the gym and get fit!

:good::oops::oops::oops::good::no::D

Get fit! no chance. My 3 sports are shooting, darts (drinking) and rallycross.

Must admit tho sometimes when i walk to the top of the hill i like to shoot, with all me pelt i have to have a ten minute break before i set up !

Unfortunatly driving to the spot is not an option as only a tractor would make it at this time of year.

maybe i will have to look at what i do and dont need.
