holly Posted January 25, 2009 Report Share Posted January 25, 2009 living in the part of england that i do i seem to eat a lot of currys , here in bradistan we have hundreds of curry shops to choose from , i have tried most local to me and quiet a few around other parts of town (most are garbage) the one i have used for the best part of 30 years is the karachi in neal st bradford people come from all over england to sample the delights on offer . a few years ago rick stein visited for his tv program food heroes here is the recipe for the lamb and spinich curry he ordered (one of my favourites ) give it a whirl you wont be dissapointed (unless you dont like curry) and the chilli puree as a permanant spot in my fridge http://www.arax15.dsl.pipex.com/ enjoy Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
jinxy72 Posted February 7, 2009 Report Share Posted February 7, 2009 nice recipe ... have to give it a whirl ...... no what u mean bout havin lots of curry houses ( which are rubbish ) .. originally from manchester i have visited rusholme's curry mile .... very well known and came highly recommended .... well what i can say is DONT BOTHER !!!!!! all the curry houses i visited r rubbish !!!!!!! and actually the one that wins all the awards in manchester is out of the city centre in atherton ( near bolton ) and its the far pavillion 2. high recommended !!!!!!!!
