Gordon R
Made from approx 1975 to 1995. Sold as a game / clay gun - bit of an all-rounder. Very Similar to Browning 325 and Miroku 3800. Very nice guns. Hardwoods Green
6000s were not as early as 1975, that would have been a 600, at the same time as an 800 etc 3800 came out in about 1977 and the 6000 from 1982-1983 ( i have all the old catalogues0. Finished mid 1990s when replaced by the MK60.
Gordon R
I agree after further research. I would be inclined to get an MK38 - a lot newer and same money.
Grumpy Old Git
I'd go down those lines as well, bought a used MK38 last weekend for the same price as a new Betty. Lad I shoot with had a new Betty a few weeks ago, three shots and the ejectors jammed up, five and a firing pin broke. His dealer replaced it without a quibble though and the new one seems OK so far.
