MerseaDavid
Went out on the rape again today but the pigeons just did not seem to wont to feed. They were more interested in just sitting on a nearby wheat field. But we still had an enjoyable day and ended with 20 birds.

MerseaDavid
do you allways use lofters when you can decoying on rape. i might give it a go Yes we do. We use them nearly all the time this time of year and we stop using them during the summer unless we are shooting under a dead tree. We have found that they help out alot this time of year because they stand out from a long distance and can turn a bad day into a good day, but then they dont always work. Shooting Tom
Good idea, magnets do the same thing but they are lower but movement in the decoys is always good. they dont always work through. Also nice pics, liking the dead pigeons. Edited February 2, 2009 by Shooting Tom
