younge shooter
Does it make a difference what to choke to use when roost shooting ie wind and things in the way slowing it down. So what choke patterns would you use?
MerseaDavid
I dont have that problem because I have fixed chokes in my O/U and they are 1/4 and 1/2 and these work well in all conditions. If there is not much wind then more choke might be better as they will be higher than normal but I dont think it makes too much difference. Shooting Tom
Chokes dont make that much of a diffrence, its the person holding the gun that makes the diffrence lol. i use 1/2 top barrel and 1/4 bottem. i dont think about chokes really just try to shoot the bird lol
sirnovember
Do you take the pigeon when they land or in flight?
Cranfield
For general decoying I use 1/4 in my semi auto, but when roost shooting I change it to 1/2, mainly because some of the birds will be further away than they are over decoys.
