Trussman
I thought the idea of the sticky traps were the animal tries to run and has a heart attack?

Trussman
No seriously. From what I've heard when the animal gets stuck, it tries to run. As it's unable to escape it keeps running and eventually its heart conks out.

Boomstick
Glue traps are a bit grim in my opinion - often find the poor ****** has GNAWED THROUGH A LEG to try and get free. So I agree, a Definite last resort with a capital 'D' If it's mice - simple snap traps work great, use peanut butter for bait! For rats - ask someone else as I haven't had to trap them thus far
8shot
boiling water or drowning them its not fair they may be a pest but they still a living animal nothing should be put though this torture atb
arjimlad
If using any inhumane method to dispatch vermin, the offence would be causing unneccessary suffering. It's not a firearms offence but a wildlife offence. Boiling water is disgraceful and the person should be prosecuted. Dispatching trapped small vermin with a head shot at 5 ft lbs is unlikely to cause unneccessary suffering in my experience.
