Shabbyshot
I have Nikko O/U 5000 skeet. I was thinking of using this for close decoys as it should give a good spread for close birds. I normally walk the fields with my AYA S/B/S which is 1/2 and full choke but thought the Nikko may be good for decoys. Just wanted your opinions on this. Harnser
I used a browning skeet gun for many years for game and pigeon shooting . I never now use more than improved cyl. for any shooting . As you get older and more wiser you will realise that chokes were brought out to confuse and to be heated topics on forums such as this one . Harnser . Shabbyshot
Yeah the topic of chokes can go on for ages. I love the AYA S/B/S, nice and light and since getting it have found my shooting is much better. I just thought the Nikko may be good over decoys. Toombsy
That gun will be absolutely perfect for it mate. I use skeet in both tubes when decoying and I wouldn't have it any other way now.

Trussman
The late Archie Coates used very open chokes for decoying. I'm tempted to get a cheap SxS one day and open up the chokes for pigeons.
