shot shot
Try turning off your anti malware and anti spyware. It may be the source of the problem. have you installed new software, something may be interfering (my bet would be something that has put an addon into firefox). Paul223
Pop ups aren't being blocked by Firefox, I checked that setting under the Tools/Options/Content menu. Only other thing I can think of is it may be something to do with CCleaner, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware or Spybot Search&Destroy? ATB, John I'm running these two and it all works fine and dandy have you tried holding down the Ctrl key whilst clicking the clicky
Cranfield
Do you have AdBlockPlus installed, if so that not only stops Pop-ups and Ads, it will also stop pages opening on some websites. It can be a complete pain.
noluv6
Think your running no script's like me or ad block pluss. Bottom right corner should show option's and you can temporarily allo certain site's. Fire fox has updated to 3.0.6. which could be a problem. I have a problem with you tube if any one can help, tell's me i need to install flash player but I already have flash player installed. Can watch you tube from a embedded link but not on there actual site, had this problem since last update "not 3.0.6." one before. really annoying
noluv6
I've also noticed lately that if I go to my Start menu and click Firefox to open a second Firefox window (not tab, they work) it won't open the second window! Using the File/New Window within Firefox won't work either. This is normal mate, you have to then google or paste the place you want to go next by using the tool bar as the new window show's up blank.
