Can someone help me with a dilema, Years ago i purchased some .22 air rifle ammo that i cannot find now as i don`t know what it`s called, it comes in 2 parts, the first part is a plastic split cup and the second bit is a copper bullett shaped projectile that fits inside the cup this assembly then gets loaded into the rifle and on firing plastic cup falls away to leave a very effective lump of copper.

Can anyone help with what these things are called so i can track them down.

I'm sure i've still got a tin laying around somewhere........ but i just can't find them at the moment .

I'm sure they were called 'Sabo' or something.... used to use them in my old HW80.... they were ok but not great in my hands.

For energy retention, i used to like the alloy 'Nato ' bullet, but some feared long term damage to the barrel as they were pretty hard.

Have you tried one of the big airgun shops ..... they might carry them.

Dave
