rodfish
Has anyone got or know of a automatic feeder that throws the feed out in a line rather than throwing it out in a circle. I want to try and feed the edge of a flight pond. Thanks

Orkney Gun
:( Calebs website has one BUT we made our own....A 45 gal oil drum with a welded metal fuel funnel in the center bottom.attached to the spout of the funnel on a spring hinge is a stopper tied to bailer string and when pulled opens a atream of grain can place on wheels and tow..works for us,so much so we have a double drun effort on the go..when one is empty just pull the other string and it carries on dripping the feed out.. LOW COST.. Edited March 7, 2009 by Orkney Gun

I have been looking at these. Interesting thing, seem to be bludy good, but I am querying the price with them. They sell them at not much under £40, yet can be bought in USA for (lowest i've found with current exchange rates), just over £25. They even sell them on Fleabay cheaper, but with a &^%$£ postage. Watch this space.

I bought one while waiting for the Remingtons - didn't work The Remington straight shooter's have problems but kept enough feed to keep the ducks interested It is not possible for me to hand feed daily but these get you by

Orkney Gun
Aye Highlander I order now from Solway. We have our homemade ones too.(in the areas where the public are liable to be) if these homemade, are damaged/stolen then it is of no great cost to replace.Ive just had an order delivered MK 6 Traps and other things including a deal many of the Kania 2000 trap (FOR THE TREE RAT).We have some in the many large plantations here of conifer/spruce.Good results so far with the last batch so looking for further gains. Company goods must be ok!.as I and we here have NO COMPLAINTS. A.J. Edited March 11, 2009 by Orkney Gun
