Toombsy
Hope someone can help... I will soon be going out with my shell decoys, flapper and new rotary for the first time. I normally put the flapper about 10-15ft downwind of the shells. I was thinking about positioning the rotary even further downwind, say another 20ft or so behind the flapper. I appreciate that every day's different, but is this about right? Will the pigeons try to land between the flapper and the rotary? Thanks Edited March 2, 2009 by Toombsy

pegasus bridge
i like my rotary 15-20 yards either side of my decoys, although the rotary does bring them in, sometimes i find the birds jink away if it is too close to the 'flock' they were going to land in. I started off having it very close to the main pattern, but after lots of trial and error i find it works best this way good luck either way!
