lander
Thanks for all your well wishes chaps.....I've had my second op and now have 7 stiches on my eye ball, I still cant focus on any thing out the eye as its coverd in glue to keep the stiches in place, I can just about make out shapes and colours. I have to have the stiches in for 6 months.....so im hoping that I might have some vision back by September (my b'day) I have tryed looking down my gun barrel....but all I see is the left hand side...cant focus down the rib...and as for my rifle scope.... ****** all ! not even with the IR turned right up (just a bright red blur) and I'm dying to get out and do a bit of bunny bashing....bloody loads about! ..ah well will just have to wait and see what happens in September. Once again chaps thanks for all your posts, just goes to show that us shooters are humans after all!! All the very best to you all Lander (Buzz)

plinker
bad luck mate, i had an accident with a belt sander last april the result of was similar to yours by the sound of things,i completley lost the lense in my left eye ,spent 11 days in hospital,i have had 2 major operations and countless stitches etc and have had a false lense fitted but unfortunatly all i can see out of it now is a faint fuzzy blur in other words it is about as much use as tits on a boar. the good news is that you will adapt to it given time, but i know what you are going through plinker ps ******g hurts does,nt it?
