Cranfield
There have been posts recently about cammo nets and others regarding the weight we carry around the fields. Just a word of advice. Last year I was tempted by a lightweight cammo net, in Advantage Timber. Its super light, weighing no more than a large handkerchief. I bought it mail order from a shooting supplier, whose name has never been mentioned on the Forum. The nets weave is like a "net curtains" density, but obviously thicker. It has little semi-circles cut into it at intervals, which produces a "leaf", to wave in the breeze. I love the Advantage Timber cammo effect, it blends in well. But, there is a problem. You need a hide pole every 6", in anything over a gentle breeze. Otherwise, the net collapses in on you. The weave is too dense, to allow the wind to pass through the net. Its not cheap, so beware. dead-eye-dick
Ditto mate, looks like there'll be two good condition nets on the "swap or sell" section. !!! :( I've found it's ok for a backing net in thin tree lines. I've also got a lighter one, without cut outs which is much better if you don't want to carry a heavy cammo net. But alittle too see-through for my likeing.
