reddan
Hi, Currently looking for a new shotgun and am drawn to Brownings, local shop is offering a 325 in close to mint condition for £800. Gun is 1992. Firstly any opinions on the gun itself? I was always lead to believe that Brownings are boring but ultra reliable and go on forever. Secondly do you think the price sounds fair? I sure the guy isnt trying to stitch me but £800 is alot of money to me and so want to get my moneys worth. Dan
poontang
Dan, I just sold a 325 for £500. I bought it for £600 two years ago. The gun was in very good condition, hardly a mark on it. £800 seems a little steep to me, however a gun is only worth what someone's prepared to pay for it. I would have thought you could get a newer 425, maybe even a 525 for that sort of money. The 325 is a very good, no nonsense gun, and looked after properly it won't let you down. reddan
Thanks to everyone who replied. I went to see another one today and ended up buying it . I had a hard think about my budget over the last couple of days and £800 upwards was too rich for me. Got a 325 in good nick for £595 in the end from Churchills.
