seisobs
Engine problems on the raft today. Had to scout a safe anchorage off Koh Samui. It's a hard life but someone has to do it. Only took 4 hours.

Beardo
you lucky bleeder! I went to Koh Samui when i was backpacking in 1990 - before they built the airport (boat trip only), i bet it's a very different place now.

seisobs
Still not touristy yet on this part of the island, we have been here at Amphoe harbour for 3 days now and only seen 3 familes, they were from Germany, there is a big ferry port next to us with ferrys travelling every our to the outlying islands. Main part of the island is Chewang beach, quite a few tourists there, mainly family orientated. Here's a few pics from last night, note the beer snacks: Deep fried cockroach and locusts! Boomstick
I presume you have tried samsong (or however it is spelt!) the local 'whisky'? If not i highly recommend a bucket or 3 of samsong and the local redbull! Not sure about wings (I can't remember!) but it certainly gives you a hangover

Tried it once, never again.
