Darren h
I pretty new to shooting woodies and i have some old decoys but they don't seem to be working too well. I'm looking to purchase some new decoys, any tips/links on which decoys are best would be appreciated Edited March 30, 2009 by Darren h
fieldwanderer
I use shell decoys but a lot of people don't like them. I found 'em on evilbay for less than £30 for 12, you just need to look carefuly. With summer coming up, you often find them at car boot sales and similar. HTH. Cranfield
I now use only shell decoys,I believe they work as well as full bodies, are cheaper and easier to carry around. Beware the cheap plastic ones that shine in the sun, they are the best thing for spooking pigeons I have seen. Buy flocked ones if you can afford it, or choose the most matt looking plastic ones you can find. I also bought some Sillosocks UV jackets that I have put on some old plastic shells and they work extremely well. Have a look at the UKShootwarehouse link at the top of the page. Lancs Lad
You can also get your flocked coated shells fairly cheap too...........

steve_b_wales
You can buy a flocking kit for pigeons and crows. Flocking good value for money. I have re-vamped many of mine.
