mls77
Picking up this gun off a mate of mine this week. I usually shoot with shotgun but have some pest control to do in and around someone,s garden so the shotguns out of the question so is using ferretts as the bloody rabbits are breeding like wild fire, so just wondering if anybody has any advice on pellets for good clean kill on rabbits, distance no more than 30 mts and 1.77 cal any advice greatly appreciated thanks fellas
bruno22rf
I think you will find it hard to beat the air arms pellets-not cheap but well worth it.

You just need ones that are accurate in your rifle. Like Bruno said, air arms (fields) should be fine. If they give you a 10 pence sized group at 30m, you are in business. bullet boy
I have an AAS410K in .177 and i use Daystate FT Pellets.I have also used in the past Bisley Magnums which have also proved to be very accurate but i now prefer the Daystate Pellet. amateur
You've just got to find the ones that shoot the best from your gun - get the Pellpax sample pack and find out what works for you Pellpax The key thing is accuracy at the range that you are shooting, not necessarily pellet style, so practice, practice, practice on paper with the selection of pellets until you find one that shoots consistently for your rifle Edited April 1, 2009 by amateur
bullet boy
I don`t think that this gun is pellet fussy like some guns. This gun is so accurate that if you miss then it`s your fault and not the rifle`s!
Isaac Davies
RWS superdomes seem to do wonders for me, but I've seen a new pellet by RWS especially for PCP's called the super field. apparently its great!
