Hi

I have got about 250 acres of OSR to shoot over.. This is made up of 6 fields. I need to get movement in my pattern.

Does any one have coments on the Aip Pro decoy.?

Can any one offer advice on patterns on OSR?

I have brought a magnet and are making another. Would two help in my pattern, if so where do I put the second magnet?

Regards

Personally never seen much difference in using a second magnet, only way it has been any use is to stick it in the next field to generate some interest along the flight line, pigeons on rape can work with a standard horseshoe or an extended L shape but personally i tend to throw the decoys randomly out and that works just as well, use some long springer sticks to give some height as decoys are difficult to spot in rape and try to use more than 12.

If you do a search in the Pigeon Equipment section for "Air Pro decoys" you will find lots of threads on the subject.

I have never felt the need to use more than one rotary when decoying over any crops.

I would suggest you buy, or make some floater/bouncers, they will add plenty of movement to your pattern and are especially effective over longer crops, when normal decoys are not so prominent (although I do stick some decoys on longer bamboo canes sometimes).

Any pattern you have had results with will work on OSR.
