  1. The best is not always the cheapest Talk to A1 Decoys they are the best and supply the best flapper The Turbo. Not a copy.
  2. Hi all The turbo flapper that mark gilchrish was useing was in fact a turbo flapper supplied by rotorcoy and video by rotorcoy On a shoot day in Suffolk. It is not a copy turbo flapper but one supplied by A1decoys I know, because I shot the video
  3. hi guys. yes i do defend Rotorcoy and the turbo flapper. How would you like it if you worked and tested an item and someone copied it and also called it with a simular name. I am very good frends with Rotorcoy and understand how he feels. Still life must go on with a little dig hear and there rightly so! On the point of the turbo being made in China, it is not. All parts are sorced in the UK. I do know that on flee bay aa decoys do not offer a return or warranty. A1 decoys do offer a full warranty and return service.Thats a big difference.
  4. Hi guys. Firstly I know the man behind Rotorcoy. He only makes one flapper. The Turbo. A1 are the only distributors for Rotorcoy. AAdecoys have copied the turbo flapper and callers it the turbo charged flapper. The main difference apart from the speed is the build quality. Pay peanuts and get monkeys, also check out the warranty or lack of!.
  5. I have been reading with interest the topic on the Turbo flapper and the turbo charged flapper. I and my husband are very good frends with Rotorcoy.co.uk the company which make the TURBO flapper. There is a difference between the two flappers. The internal workings of the TURBO flapper were tested for over a year before beening sold. The turbo charged flapper has not had this testing. Rotorcoy know this because of the time that A&A flapper has been on the market. After all they have copied the TURBO but not all! ( So who ever buys one takes a chance, and A&A are not offering a return on flee bay ) A&A have tried to copy the Turbo but there are a few parts even A&A are unable to copy. They have even called the A&A flapper the turbo charged. This is only to get you confused on which one to buy. The TURBO was first on the market and has been profesionally painted for all weather's. I have been told that the TUBBO flapper has been upgraded to make it even more realistic to the pigeon. After all Andy Crow man Crow and Mark Gillchrist use and rate the TURBO flapper for its realiablity and pulling power to decoy the pigeons, then it is a good unit. On the point of any unit not working as it should then give the supplier a ring. I know that A1 will sort out all problems with there goods. I do wonder why people air there suposed problems in this forum and not return the products to the supplier. ie this may, could, mite, be a bit of in house tactics by other interested party's. Just give Mark or Criss a call at A1 01179374494 and ask them the difference, as you could not deal with two nicer guys

  7. The Turbo flapper has under gone a full years testing before being put onto the Market. All I am saying is how can a fake copy be put on the Market with no testing. The only people who will suffer are the people who think that they are buying the real unit but in fact a fake.
  8. Hi. There is only one place to get the turbo flapper from. A1 decoys. AA decoys have copied this flapper but like all fake units you get what you pay for. I have had 2 of the real turbos for a year and have had no problems with them. They are very well built and have changed my pigeon shooting. Just a little note Andy Crow and Mark Gilchrist realy rate the Turbo too.my advice to you is buy the real unit because they work
  9. Re the turbo flapper my husband and I went out on some rape stubble yesterday and firstly set up the rotary with hypa flaps and then after shooting 2 birds we put the turbos to work. We ended up with 114. We think that they are well built and work realy well. The only problem is that there is only one supplier, either on flee bay or from A1. There is a site where you can see the turbo work but you cannot buy it from them. Lets hope that UKSW will get in touch with the makers rotorcoy and open up a supply . Any way my old man said that he will still use the rotary with the turbo flapper as well. :)
  10. Had a look throught flee bay last week and brought a angel . This also can be used as a floater and glider. I think that this is a realy good compact decoy. The best thing is that the first time I used it, it worked. I shot 22 on a bit if winter barley stubble. The best thing is that you do not have to cart any batterys around with you and it can be set up in seconds. I would like to know if anyone has used one and can tell the best way to put it in my pattern. Molly
  11. Hi Kevinbird I have never read so much rubbish that you have posted about the rotor coy machines. I have 4 of the 3 in 1 machines and think they are the best thing since sliced bread. If you go onto utube there is a short video on the set up of the rotor coy 3 in 1 and the rotor Coy flapper too. I saw a cheapper version at the Midland that was copied. I think that you must have brought a pair. Look at utube. I now use my orginal RC in place of the magnet. There has been a lot of decoyer's who have used the magnet with no concideration given to the art of setting up the decoy pattern. I have heard lot's of decoyer's saying that the magnet is scareing the pigeons away. This is now true in my area. They have just plonked the magnet in the pattern and hoped for the best, shooting at out of range birds and now we are now paying for there ingerance. The RC that I have are great and they work. I am awating for my Turbo Flapper to arive and add this to my pattern.
  12. Hi Can any one help me to find the right paint to repaint my plastic decoys as they are looking a bit shabby. Many thanks Molly
  13. Hi I received last week the new Rotor Flap flappers from A1 Decoys. They are selling them on fleebay and when I saw the video I thought the look really good and not a gimic. When I got them they look really great solidly made. I tryed them out today. I put them on two floaters at either end of the pattern and they worked great. These flappers really looked like the real thing. I hope to try them out on the magnet next week as well.I managed to shoot 43 on rape. Must try the Rotor Coys next but the old man said wait for my birthday Molly
  14. hi . Get screw driver and heat it up via a blow lamp or heat gun and pierce the foam wings and then use a cable tie to connect them together when they are inserted in the decoy. Do the same with the tail and connect with the wing cable ties. This will keep the wings in place. The other thing is to angle the decoy inward when mounting on the magnet. Regards Molly
  15. hi I am making a magnet. Can anyone tell me how many turns per minute the magnet turns in very little wind 5mph wind 10 to 15mph 15 to 25 mph This would be of great help to me. Many thanks Molly
