Going with beretta you wont go far wrong. They are immaculately made and faults are very rare. fired it a few times, i can say that it is lighter then some 20 bores that i have picked up. Fires like a dream and they are a very attractive gun.

Fert,

I have an Ultralight, 28" game M/C, and I love it ! As all Berettas' it's very well made and should see me out.

Very light, perfect for carrying round the fields all day, and even though it's

so light I am still comfortable putting 32g 5's through it.

I agree with all the above. I have used one on clays and although I would not want to do a 100 birder with it 50 was fine. I find my Lanber easier on the shoulder than standard Berettas & Brownings anyway (prob due to gunfit) and the UL's recoil was quite OK. Perfect for a carry gun.

Soory Fert, I've slept since I bought it, can't remember how much I paid as I got

a load of cartridges and some other bits.

Try ringing round a few gunshops and seeing what their best price is for the same model that you're buying, that should give you an idea if they're in the right price range.

I also have an Ultralight Game 28" M/C

A joy to shoot with and I've got the Xtrawood version so it looks nice too

I was putting 32g 6's through it the other week and didn't have any problem at all. Really notice the difference when you pick up another gun afterwards.

A bit more recoil but it's worth it in the long run - especially general game shooting and pigeon shooting when you aren't banging away all day - i did notice my shoulder a bit after 100 clays !
