mr lee Posted April 5, 2009 Report Share Posted April 5, 2009 John, we have a river with quite a large sand bed and bank on our shoot very close t where the foxes have run in the ast and can't say we have ever noticed and droppings from them in the past. Obviously can't tell if they pee there though but it desn't smell of fox pee. For the sake of £2's worth of sand though it's worth a go. Baldrick Posted April 5, 2009 Report Share Posted April 5, 2009 Yes, we had fox scat presented for us on occasion, on the heaps of sand lying around in the yard. I even shot one vixen in the process of pinching one off on a heap of sand. We have a couple of fields here with seams of sand running through them, and they contain a disproportionately high number of fox earths.
