yipyip Posted April 12, 2009 Report Share Posted April 12, 2009 went out on friday with bigbird2 we had 10 sillosocks out and 10 flock coated shells out in a horse shoe pattern all mixed the birds were comming from mainly behind us and in front! BUT they wasent confident droppin in so got the rotary out and put it at the head of the pattern with 2 on bigbird had shot earlier.NOW does any1 else have this happen dosent matter were the wind is what pattern u got out there the little ******* land on top of the rotary near enough instead of comming in the pattern u have laid up Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Cranfield Posted April 12, 2009 Report Share Posted April 12, 2009 Put the rotary where you want the birds to land (and be shot), I put the rotary at the back of the decoy pattern (so it looks like birds joining the back of the flock).
