RC45
if it's for clays, go for a DT10 if your flush. If not when I would go for a second hand Miroku. Some clubs have shops on-site and would allow you to try the odd used gun. Phil

arjimlad
If you like an over/under you should be considering used Beretta or Browning, which will hold their value.
reddan
Were there any particluar shotguns you borrowed that stood out? I know that when I was looking I picked up a Browning O/U and it just felt right. In fact every Browning I have tried I liked. For £800 you can get a good secondhand Browning, GTI, 325,425 maybe 525. Webley and Scott O/Us are £600 new! But dispite that I still bought a secondhand 325, but then new is new. Loads of options at that sort of price so you could do I did and spend time at my local clay club and had a look at others guns, held them andworked out what I wanted.
