Windy
Hoping to get some pigeon shooting soon, having returned to the scene after a 20yr break (father sold farm and we moved away). Have got new gun. Looking to get some local permissions......so have been keeping an eye on the fields and flight lines. Was a quiet day at work yesterday evening, so took a drive through the lanes. Spotted a field of peas which was being hammered, and a field of what I think is young beet. Just need to I/D the farmer.
BSA-airgunner
would it be rude to put a small notice on the gate (if there is one) and ask for a contact number or leave your mobile number saying you have noticed the crop being hammered by the pigeons ........... Windy
pretty sure I know who the land is owned by now.....just got to find someone 'in'. The beet field is part of an estate, which I'm fairly sure is farmed by a big local contractor. Work colleague used to work for him, so i'll check later.
