dieseldogg
Tried to purchase a 1407 Anschutz outt England, sold local the same day as I confirmed my order Tried to buy a Walther local, RFD agreed, only seems someone else had already paid a deposit, and he's a "one man band" So looking for a reasonably light weight bolt action .22LR rifle with micrometer sights, shooting prone unsupported, a "sporter" type would do however most (indeed all that I have seen been aware of) cannot mount a target type foresight. Am I missing something? Re my HMR purchase, is there not an official Weihrauch importer at the moment?, or are they all "grey" imports

Guest RemmySPS
Nothing sinister, just haven’t been down to Bisley for a while so haven’t had my Anschutz 1913 checked over by them for a while. Last time I went down Anschutz were doing something in Europe and gave the job to a monkey from Dyke’s. The cheeky B£â€$%^$D actually charged me for a new saddle for my bolt, whereas Dieter Anschutz would have changed it for nowt, as these little extras are built in with the cost of the rifles (@ £2000 now). dieseldogg
Thanks guys, i was aware of Frank Dyke importing Anschutz I will wait for the £ / Euro rate to improve (to be 1:1.25 by the summer, apparently) before I spring for an Anschutz cheers M
