Spaniel
Been waiting a few weeks for Veals to sort this but they managed to get me a C Cell size clamp to fit my Tesco torch to my scope. It cost about £15 but all i have done is remove the top of the clamp from my scope mount and replaced it with this one which holds my torch in place. The red filter end cost me about a Fiver. I was thinking about re-doing the switch etc but to be honest it isnt that difficult to turn off/on while holding the riffle so i may not bother with that mod at the present time. Just need to sort myself a Bi pod and i should be all sorted Still got to sort some land out to shoot some Rabbits but i like to get myself prepared beforehand.. vole
Great torches. Have one of each size. The d cell is massively bright but gone back up to full price of £17.
Loki
Hi These C cell torches with 3w output certainly punch well above their weight including in my opinion better that converting an existing equivalent Maglite to LED with the cost that entails - especially as I picked up 2, unopened, @ £3.00 each at a bootsale!! Unfortunately that means I now have 2 redundant Maglite, including a 6 D cell which seemed a good idea at the time years ago!!! I'm keeping'em peeled for a couple of D cells............. Spaniel
I thought the D Cells were a little to heavy to fit on top of the scope to be honest, why i went fo the C cell instead But they are excellent torches for the money and does the business

Power ranger
Looks good, those little torches are great for rabbiting. No need for a big lamp, they just light the whole area up and end up scaring everything of within half a mile ! One quick scower over the land and you will see those little eyes light up no probs. Good luck finding a shoot..... good things come to those who wait.
