interesting summary, so that suggests that fixed position open wings (ie Angels) are a no-no

:P been using 'angels' AKA 'landers' for years and never got that impression.

 

maybe I would have shoe twice as many if I had left them at home :good:

 

If they were laying them flat on the ground with outstretched wings then, yes, it would put others off from landing.

I always pick up shot birds that land like that asap because I know it stops others coming in :lol:

 

Nothing new there then. Interesting though :good:

Its just a thought, Last season on 4 or 5 outings I had to take my bouncers in to get the birds to commit themselves, and it worked out great.

Possibly if the wind is not moving those wings enough on the bouncers, then from a great height they could look dead.
