mushroom
has anyone used these pellets??? I bought a tin of .22 rangemasters yesterday and after destroying the stake i put my targets on i shot a bunny clean through the head at 50-55 yards (yes i know it's a distance but i have had to do a lot of long shot practice for this permission due to lack of good cover in parts) said bunny flew further than i've ever seen a bunny fly. high up in the air and back with three flips to boot the lad with me said it looked like it had been shot with a rimfire from where he was stood. The energy retention at 55 yards say must be quite phenominal would love to know if anyone has the figures for these pellets.
Chineseman1990
OH ,MY GOD !What can you pay for the rangemasters??How many dollors?speed! A verynice guns
huntercarbine
mate, are they heavy pellets and do you use a pcp. Sounds like the rangemasters might be worth the extra money if they transfer that much energy at 55yards. If they leave the barrel with 11-12 ftlbss i'd imagine they'd hit the rabbit at 55yards with about 6-8ftlbs, so they've definately very good stopping power. MM
if it really is putting out energy like you say it is, then if it is not FAC, you might want to get it chrono'd.

Clubshot
Rangemasters - Are Bullet Shaped Do often take a bit of time and Effort to get Shooters to get them Right As work best in a Clean Barrel Action As Speed and Accuracy comes from finding Rifling Had a guy try them - moaned he stated that was not the same aim point as normal wasted Pellets - then they was going in the same Hole - As if it was wrong for pellets to do that............
