John Maiden
I'm looking for a good used moderator to put on a Ruger 10/22. I currently use the old trusty Parker-Hale, but looking for something better like the Logun Rimfire model. Must be .50 unf (standard thread) if anyone has one at a reasonable price, please let me know. Thanks
pete evans
i use a sak that seems to be ok, there so cheep you may as well get one new. John Maiden
Alot of people recommended th SAK, so I bought a new one from www.gunshop.co.uk. It was only £25 + £1.85 P+P
JRDS
The ASE Ultra is the best I have used out of Webley, Parker Hale, Sak, Sako and ASE.
Gemini
I understand why you have gone for the SAK John but I found that the big Webley was quieter on my rifle. The trouble is silencers are like fashion, they come and go as trends change. A couple of years ago it was the Lapwood Husher, then the Logun, and now the SAK. They all do much the same although they are obviously better than cheap ones. No doubt once they have sold as many silencers as they can they will come up with another one that they will claim to be even quieter. And of course shooters will swear blind that it is, even though it is probably producing exactly the some reduction levels as the previous ones. Ah well that’s life.G.M.
