Lloyd90
On the bottom of my CZ magazine (Cal is 17 HMR) the bottom plate is loose, with a small knock or push it will slide away. It happened a little before but I didnt realise it was a problem until tonight when It came off Luckily I managed to slide it back on before any parts of the mag got lost I was wondering is it supposed to be that loose or is therw a pin of some sort that should hold it in place ? I dont fancy losing it tbh
Baldrick
There is a spring-loaded pin that retains the bottom plate. It's only apparent when one disassembles the magazine. You'll have to track one down from your local smith, or see if anyone on PW can source you another pin. Alternatively, use some duct tape to hold the plate in position. MC
On the mags that I have there is a small plastic plate attached to the mag spring, this has a small plastic pin moulded onto it and this is what holds the bottom plate in position. I have one in a magazine that I ******** up trying to make it a 7 round mag so if you want it PM me your address.
