 Yep, picked it up this morning

Its quite a beast, its 30in barrels look huge but doesn't feel that heavy.

Can't wait to try it but I guess I will have to as I need to get hold of some sub-sonic carts for it not to mention a gun slip to put it in

If anyone has any ideas where I might get one I'd be grateful! I have one that is long enough but the moderator is about 2ins across and won't go down the sleeve far enough.

I've plenty of time to get one as I can manage with what I have for now but I find that there's nothing quite like having the right kit.

I find it more satisfying somehow.

Is that the Investarm O/U 20b?

If so I have one too. I use it all the time pigeon shooting and get on very well with it

Gamebore make a subsonic game load called ''hushpower'' 30g 5s, they work very well too.

As for gun bag, the only one I have found which will nearly fit, is the napier roll-bag. You will need to extend the loop for the clip with a piece of string or a cable tie.

Yes, its the Investarm version. I've got a Napier gun roll as it happens. I took it with me to pick it up and if thats the best I'm going to get I'll have to do like you said Crispti and extend the fastener a bit.

How do you find the recoil with 30 grms in? I was thinking of trying 21grms as I don't want to knock my hands about too much.

I'll try to post some pics for those that are interested.

Thanks for the suggestions etc

Recoil is next to nothing mate as they are subsonic, still hold a good pattern at range, probably due to the 3/4 and full choke mind, and they hit hard at range too which is good for the high birds

GH,

I dont know if you were told, but Saddlery and gunroom strongly recommend you dont use plastic wad carts either as they may get stuck in the baffle, sorry if you know this,

Thanks Crispti, I didn't know as the gun arrived without any info or anything else so any bit of knowledge is appreciated.
