Tobyb525
Hey, I know simlar topics have been posted before ( I did a search) but: Does anyone use the bsa type tactical flashlights for lamping? Will it do the job for a 12 ft lb for lamping or do I need the full deben type set? Cheers

Cheers You can use any light source for lamping, depends how far your thinking of shooting,if like you say its for a 12ftlb air-rifle you should be fine, but might have to adjust your range accordingly, give it a go before you go the whole hog,and if you need to upgrade later,at least youve given it a go.I use to use a maglite upgrade on one of my air-rifles,and it was spot on,you dont need too much light, just enough for the eye to reflect BB
bullet boy
A Deben Tracer Max or Atom Lamps would be suitable.

amateur
Lights up rabbits' eyes very effectively at 30 - 40 yards. More than enough for 12ftlb air rifles

toka_shigazu
the torch i am talking about is the bigger one about 5 inches long, the beam is good for 200 yards [plenty good enough out to 150 yards for good i.d of targets etc.] i put a full post on THL about the testing of this torch if you search for it. tescos do do a smaller one still that is meant to be ok for 30-40 yards but i havent tried that one. i got a velcro fastener off ebay to fix it to my scope..... heres the link to THL post... http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/index...mp;#entry863304
