Cheers Buddy I'm a bit confused as to how 1 screw can give side as well as verticle adjustment when its released though .Suppose i'll have to suck it and see . Am I to understand you have exactly the same gun ?
jinxy72
the one screw normally does vertical adjust .... to do the side to side have a look under the comb ad should see other options of adjustment Edited July 10, 2009 by jinxy72

Loosen the screw and then adjust up, down, sideways to set as you require and then tighten the screw again
Markio
Cheers Buddy I'm a bit confused as to how 1 screw can give side as well as verticle adjustment when its released though .Suppose i'll have to suck it and see . Am I to understand you have exactly the same gun ? It's a job to describe... If yours is the same as mine then loosening that screw undoes two clamp type arrangements, each clamp is split in half to hold the two uprights of the top of the stock but they themselves are clamped from the outside, that outside clamping setup when loose allows the side to side adjustment. Assuming we have the very same setup when you lift the top stock section up you can take it right out. The top stock part is just the wood and the top upright pins, the rest of the gubbins is in the actual stock. You'll then see clearly how it all works, hell it might even make sense of my description (well maybe!). And no pube like springs flew out of mine either. Anyway, i'm not responsible for any of the above if yours goes tits up.
