bobbo
is the lenght of the day what makes the hard work? surely your not that stupid. to think that say someone that works for 3 hours could under go more strenious sp? activity i computer nerd could sit in an office managing two buttons and work from 8 till 4 in the morning a trawler could work somewhere on the altlantic ocean in extreme conditions or a scientist in the north pole just going to get a piece of rock from some where for research he could be out there 2 hours but it could be the tuffest work in two hours. personally i think your just jealous if you would like to discuss any queries you have by all means do it over personal message as i do not want my thread covered with negative comments. thanks bob
nipper
Hourly pay I have never heard of any other keeper getting hourly pay before ? If my boss did that I would be worth a small fortune !!! Are you sure you are not employed as a seasonal casual ?? While at college Most guys I know have there pay linked to basic agriculture (but not the overtime ! ) + a few perks . You cant get a casual nowadays for less than £50 a day. How many keepers are on the place ?
Boromir
Bobbo I have defended you on here a little and im glad you have a job that pays well but if I was in a job like that I wouldn't be thinking about ££££ all the time. I myself work in the countryside and I enjoy it but talking about ££££ doesn't really bovver me as there is always somebody out there that is earning a lot more. Enjoy your job remember stick to it, there are 100's of people who maybe waiting to take it.
v-max
Im not jelous mate, ive been a trainee and moved up the ladder now. I wasnt having a dig trying to make you look lazy or owt, just sort of letting you know that there is alot harder work to be done and longer hours than 8-8. and if your really getting paid nearly 400 a week for them hours you want to stay put for a few years and make some money while your at it. Im thinking the same as i got £25 a week when i was doing it. Dose he get a house/bothy with this job & vehicle do you get the usual like tweed suit/oil/boots/waterproofs/line rental/electric/council tax/dog allow etc coverd to name a few if so stik with it & dont move. Please dont go telling us on an open forum about cats & terriers & are you soft keeping 1 have you checked it for fleas as fearl cats can be riffe wuth them hope you dont have a dog. CharlieT
Do you work for Anthony Price at the game farm or are you based on one of the shoots. Seems to me that next time I see your Mr Evans I will have to tap him up for a job if he's paying those sort of wages.
