wild fowling in scotland?

Ive been up a few times and mostly access to the shore is unrestricted and the shooting is free, some areas of shore are nature reserves and a permit is required, generally from the local council but still free.

For those areas of the Scottish foreshore that require permits, phone BASC and ask them to send you a copy of this year's Wildfowling Permit booklet that has just been published. It lists all the permits schemes (including those in England and Wales) and is available free to members.
