seisobs
Hi Guy's I have 2 telescopic bouncers. Both the wing spreaders have stripped threads and will not stay in place on the bouncer (Keep sliding down the pole). It's so easy to strip these threads as they are plastic, any idea on how to repair them? Dont want to lash out a tenner for a new pair. Thanks in advance. deny essex
Wax the screw up and wipe off the excess wax, then apply an epoxy glue into the de-threaded hole (rod removed of corse) smear a little on the waxed thread and insert into the hole and leave to set. Unscrew the the screw and clean off any excess epoxy with a file or sand paper. Done the same myself simple and works well.
BSA-airgunner
had the same prob i found a nut that fits the the thread then drill through the back so the nut fits inside and does not fowl the rod but the hole size must be .5mm smaller that the widest part of the nut...............if i get time i will stick up some pics
