HW77 Hunter
Hi , Does anyone know how to get dents out of a stock - my HW77 air rifle has got a few which could do with getting rid of. Thanks , Phil
lineshooter
A damp cloth and a steam iron, Place the cloth over the dents a lightly iron, this should raise the wood in the dent you may have to repeat once or twice. Sometimes doesn`t work so good if the stock is heavily laquered.
Marcus
As lineshooter said. May not get it to 100% but it will be an improvement on where it is now. ALB Marcus

Harnser
I use an old bike tyre lever which is heated to very hot on the gas oven and then applied to damp cloth over the dents . This method will raise the dead as well as dents in your stock . Harnser .
Delbert
O.K i'll try it now thanks guys! What Harnser said I use a big old dessert spoon myself direct on to the wood obviously not heated enough to burn the wood. but wet it with a cloth after each application the damp in the wood will help it spring back ( not if its varnish finshed tho) Derek Edited July 25, 2009 by Delbert
