Bakewell Tart tends to bring them in from the right, Ginger Cake brings 'em in from the left. If you want some high birds then its a slice of lemon drizzle cake, and for those low incoming birds, a couple of nags on a chocolate cake with buttercream filling does the trick Never tried port and a chunk of Stilton yet, but my mate says have that and you're surrounded by woodcock in seconds Hang on a second. Are you using cake as a decoy? If so what sort of pattern do you use? You must be using something more solid on the magnet - scones anyone? Lez325 Posted August 1, 2009 Report Share Posted August 1, 2009 (edited) scones will break up after a few minutes - Mars bars are the way forward and I use Twix in a V pattern unless its wet and then I switch to Bounty Bars- the white if the coconut appeals to woodies but on a serious note I use a Bettinsol Diamond deluxe 1/4 and 1/2 choke- No6 x 32g high flyer carts- loads of camo netting( Realtree advantage timber) 6 hide poles and a fishing box with padded top for a seat deeks are 12 x Sillosocks with the rubber heads+ magnet with 2 x Hypaflaps with rubber heads + 2 Plastic crow deeks for placing outside of the woody pattern- all of which fit into my 4x4- so not too much carrying Les Edited August 1, 2009 by Lez325 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
