shoughton
Out walking the dog last night and bagged a few woodies on the flightpath as they crossed a treeline. They were all stuffed to the brim with rape oil seed - couldn't have fitted any more in if I tried! The odd thing is that I can't see where it is on the field - I can only see stubble. They certainly know! I need to get out with the decoys but this bloody work business gets in the way of my shooting! I have a week off next week - just hope it's not too late. shoughton
They will have been clearing up the spillage. Yes, I realise that - but we looked around and couldn't see much atall. Just struck us as incredible how they find so much to feed on!
JonnyR
If you pick up the pods which the combine has missed, generally in small strips, and roll it from one hand to another you will be amazed how much is in there.
