With computers getting more and more powerful, wireless tech and the milatary starting to use manless aircraft. Are we a short step away from self decrtuction. :( . better learn how to make a pipe bomb dont fancy a t1000 coming through my front door . Will have to show them the pointy end of my browning. Cranfield Posted June 17, 2005 Report Share Posted June 17, 2005 While technology is moving very fast and we are becoming more reliant on it, I think we are a long way from the World being taken over by computers. Over 30 years ago, I use to watch a TV programme called Tomorrow's World. It showcased gadgets and ideas, that would make our lives easier in the "future". One thing they forecast was a Domestic Robot that would clean the house and eventually be able to do the cooking etc. Well, I waited and waited, but nothing developed and so I had to get married. :( Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
