Fisherman Mike
After a miserable day on Wednesday with a loss of some 250 quid on Vanderlin amongst others I did something I wouldnt normally do and backed just the one stable at York and Newbury yesterday and that was John Dunlop. With no knowledge of his horses I wagered ew on all of his runners yesterday and won just over 1200 quid to a total stake of 75. If I had done a accumulator or combination bet ( which I never do ) I have not had the courage to work out the possible return. he had winners at 16/1, 20/1, 22/1, 3/1 & 8/1. one of them I backed early morning at 33/1 ! Just goes to show that you can have all the best information in the world, study the form from page to page and it comes down to a slice of luck. I know you guys who lost money on Vanderlin wont want to know this but but the trainer will place this horse to win a big handicap or listed race this year and when it does I shall get my money back and some. :( Looks like the Family Holiday is back on track No more bets fro me until the natiional Hunt season in November FM. apbuild
FM. £1 win accumulator at those odds would have returned £295,596.00. Once had all five horses of a £1.50 accumulator all come in! Payout, on terrible odds was £505.25. Still a long shot to win on one! Rob.
Jonnyni
One lucky punter from belfast won the max payout of 250,000 grand last thursday on a lucky 13 bet. The odds from his win looked very like those you mention FM, I wonder if they where the same horses. Unfortunatly it wasn't me
