Baldrick
Use #3s or #4s at less than 40 metres, through tight chokes. The sound of a wounded hare is very unsettling. A .22LR will do the job. Have you been requested to shoot them?
M ROBSON
I use a .17hmr and a .22 Hornet to shoot Hares from veg fields. The first 3 weeks after the plants go in are the most important, after that they're not doing much harm. Mark.
