The_Craws
Hi, I have recently purchased a PCP airgun, a CZ S200. It however did not come supplied with any instructions. I would like to know how I should maintain to get the most from it. Could anyone help? Thanks

roblade
pdf version of manual hope this helps you out ROB PS the CZ200 is the same as the Air Arms S200 and you can get a 10 shot mag that just bolts onto the middle dove tail scope rail about £50-60 quid turns a bloody good rifle into a fookin brilliant one!!!!!! pps just had a look at the on line manual and its the same as the one i have sitting beside me here Edited July 1, 2005 by roblade
roblade
basic rulke for maintaining any rifle though, just a wipe over all parts with a clean oily rag. works on wood and metal. if the rifle gets wet take the action out of the stock and wipe it all over. i use WD40 on the rag but leave it a little while for all the nasty stuff to evaporate off or a little 3 in 1 oil ROB DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT OILING THE HAMMER OR ANY OF THE INTERNALS!!!!!!! The_Craws
Absolutely excellent help. Ill have a good read! The 10 shot attachment would be very handy indeed, i'm considering it. Cheers!
SNAKEBITE
I just make sure I wipe over the metal work with gun oil on a rag every time I put it away. Whats the best way to keep the stock in good shape? I think must be beech. (HW57) The last thing I want to use is Mr. Sheen!
bobfly
hi all im a new fella to the website so im just flicking thru old threads, heres a trick i use to keep my gun looking pretty,i use the same stuff to clean my flyfishing lines, ARMORALL DASHBOARD WIPES, they come in a handy dispensor they a cloths that are impregnated with silicone,i just wipe over the blued parts of the gun, they remove all fingerprints and other nasty residues like magic, regards bob
roblade
please note that some rifle manufactures advise against the use of silicone based oils on thier guns!!! why this is i have no idea as silicone (as far as im aware) does not react with rubber O rings like a mineral based oil, though i could be wrong about this. I know people who have used a silicone lubricant spray on thier rifles with no adverse effects in a good few years shooting. and always rember the rule " A LITTLE AND OFTEN" ROB PS good to see some of the older posts dragged back to the top kicking and screaming
