Ferret Master
Especially as the school council consists of 11 year olds voted 13 to 1 to send the sheep to slaughter. What's the odds that the disgruntled woman moaning to the papers daughter was the one who voted against? Toombsy
Too right mate I made absolutely sure where my kid's meat comes from, and even showed them how we get a meal from a pheasant not too long ago (and at the same time showed them all the organs) and they were fascinated... and enjoyed eating the breast meat a few hours later
Guinea Fowl
Just yesterday in the Sun News paper there was a bit where they say that kids think meat comes from a packet and milk from bottles and the kids that do go to farms on school trips think that a cow is a cow and have no idea that you get different breeds. smig4373
I always showed my kids, especially my daughter when paunching and skinning rabbits etc,she used to play with the pelts after.she was 5 at the time....does them no harm at all to see that where theres life, there has to be death....i rather them know about things like that...then if they want to make a decision about there lifestyle in later years, they've had an informed and educated up bringing...and not have to listen to and make choices later in life from schpile from do-gooder tree huggers....
